Dr. Fawaz is an outpatient adult psychiatrist practicing on our main campus. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in both general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. His areas of special interest include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, panic disorders and psychopharmacology. Dr. Fawaz received his medical degree from Spartan Health Sciences University, West Indies and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Maryland. He served as the chief resident and following his residency completed a fellowship in addiction psychiatry. He has been on the medical staff since 1997.
