Supporting Healthcare in our Community:
Meritus Health is committed to improving the health of our community. As a nonprofit, community hospital and health system, we support our neighbors by ensuring they have access to high-quality healthcare. Every year, Meritus proudly supports charity care and invests into our community.
The Meritus Healthcare Foundation, a private, nonprofit, tax-exempt organization raises money to support the patients, programs and services of Meritus Health. We work with generous community members, community-centric organizations, and corporate partners to raise money for Meritus Health.
Each year, we proudly help Meritus live its mission of Improving the Health of the Community. Meritus never turns a patient away due to their ability to pay for care. In 2023, Meritus provided $12,269,867 in Charity Care to our community members, and a total of $65,292,225 in Community Benefit. This equates to $179,896,50 of Community Benefit is provided to our community each day, $7,454 each hour, $124.23 each minute and $2.07 per second.
