Dr. Ahmad graduated from Aga Khan University Medical School in Karachi, Pakistan and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He then completed Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University/Christiana Care Health Services, Del. Dr. Ahmad is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Physicians' Vascular Interpretation. He treats patients presenting with heart attacks, heart failure and those having coronary artery disease. He has special interests in performing emergency cardiac procedures and providing cardiac critical care.
