Meritus Home Health provides the medical care you need in the comfort of your own home. Our professional staff is here to help you recover from injury, surgery, serious illness or disability, allowing you to maintain your independence and privacy.

Patients can be referred to Meritus Home Health by their trusted healthcare provider. Services are provided on a per-visit basis with most services being covered by Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance programs. The Meritus Home Health staff is happy to help you understand your individual coverage.

We are licensed by the State of Maryland and accredited by the Joint Commission. The program also is certified by Medicare and Medicaid.

Serving Washington County and the surrounding area, we offer a variety of in-home services and resources to help patients remain independent and safe in the comfort of their own home. Our services include:

• Occupational therapy
• Medical social services
• Medication management

Specialty nursing includes postpartum, medical-surgical, high-tech infusion, advanced wound care and care of patients who have terminal illnesses.
