Meritus Health has created a way for you to visit your primary care provider from your home.
Following on the heels of the successful MeritusNow virtual urgent care, Meritus Virtual Primary Care is now available to those with a smartphone, tablet or computer with a camera.
“This virtual service offers primary care services to patients of all ages, from newborn through adult,” said Miranda Ramsey, Meritus vice president of physician services. “It offers accessible high-quality care, making sure that our patients have a strong health partner and advocate.”
In addition, the virtual practice offers patients preventative and wellness services, acute illness management and chronic disease management from an expert healthcare provider.
It functions much like a brick-and-mortar office, but instead of getting to a waiting room, patients can visit www.meritushealth.com and choose Virtual Primary.
All it takes is registering as a patient with the new service. Access is secure and easy to use, and there is no app to download.
The virtual service is available to residents in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
