Meritus named to Forbes’ Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals

Only 250 organizations nationwide received the recognition. 

Meritus Health has been recognized on the inaugural list of Forbes’ America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals 2025.

“Landing on this inaugural list reinforces the strides we’ve taken to make Meritus Health a great place to work,” said Maulik Joshi, Dr.P.H., president and CEO of Meritus. “Having a great work environment leads to better focus on quality care for our patients and our community.”

Employers on the list have been identified in an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 17,000 U.S. employees working for healthcare and social welfare providers employing at least 1,000 people within the U.S.

The survey has been conducted periodically over the course of the previous three years with now more than 300,000 employer evaluations considered in the final ranking. In total, only 250 companies nationwide were recognized.

The list, compiled by Forbes and statistics portal and industry ranking provider Statista, goes live on forbes.com on Sept. 25.
