Meritus Medical Center named a top surgical hospital in Maryland

Meritus Medical Center was named a 2024 top surgical hospital in Maryland by Healthgrades, a healthcare performance tracking firm.

The award was first reported in Becker’s ASC Review.

Healthgrades’ annual list ranks hospitals by measuring performance using Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services data from 2020 to 2022. 

Surgical care recognitions are based on 15 different surgical procedures, including hip fractures, bowel obstruction, back and neck surgery and upper gastrointestinal surgery.
