Meritus earns high performing ratings from U.S. News & World Report

Meritus Medical Center recognized for abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and gynecological cancer surgery.

Meritus Medical Center has been named a 2026-2027 High Performing Hospital for abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and gynecological cancer surgery by U.S. News & World Report. The recognition places Meritus among the top 43% of hospitals nationwide that demonstrate strong performance in delivering specialized, complex care.

The annual U.S. News Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings are designed to help patients and their physicians make informed decisions about where to receive care for serious illnesses and medically complex procedures. Hospitals recognized as High Performing are evaluated on objective measures including patient outcomes, patient experience, discharge success, complication rates, and other indicators of quality care.

For abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, Meritus received higher-than-average marks in prevention of prolonged hospitalizations and patient experience, reflecting the organization's commitment to delivering safe, effective care while helping patients return to their daily lives as quickly as possible.

In gynecological cancer surgery, Meritus earned higher-than-average ratings for helping patients recover at home during the critical first 30 days after surgery and for overall patient experience, demonstrating the strength of its multidisciplinary cancer care team and comprehensive support services.
