Robinwood Surgery Center Passes Accreditation, Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Excellence in Patient Care
During a recent certification by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Robinwood Surgery Center met or exceeded 645 standards in 13 review areas and was asked to submit two quality standards related to infection control for national recognition. During the review process, the accreditation staff praised Robinwood Surgery Center for its commitment to patient care, measured by effective and constant communication among staff, physicians, anesthesia and the management team.
The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care is the leader in developing standards to advance and promote patient safety, quality care and value for ambulatory health care.
This fall, Robinwood Surgery Center celebrates 20 years of outpatient surgical services. The center includes distinguished specialists in ten surgical arenas who perform more than 5,000 procedures annually from breast cancer and knee surgeries to adenoid and tonsil removals.
