How Can I Help?
Donation
As a non-profit organization, Meritus Health depends on charitable support from donors throughout the tri-state area. The challenge to care for the sick and underserved is greater than ever, with hospitals receiving fewer dollars from Medicare, Medicaid, private health insurances and managed care organizations. If you're considering a meaningful way to invest in the health of our community, consider a contribution to Meritus Health Foundation, where your donations are used to fund essential programs provided by Meritus Health. Meritus Health relies on the generosity of our community to provide the added financial support necessary to provide quality health care programs and services.

Volunteers
All volunteers are part of the Meritus Medical Center Auxiliary. Auxiliary members enjoy giving back to the community by volunteering their time to Meritus Health. While volunteering, they can build new friendships, attend Meritus Health events, and continue lifelong learning.
Volunteers support and complement patient care at Meritus Medical Center and Robinwood Professional Center. Some examples include:
- Assisting at the information desk
- Greeting and assisting visitors in various departments
- Transporting patients
- Delivering flowers and mail to patients
- Working in the gift shop, coffee shop and thrift shop
- Initiating fundraising events
By showing your compassion and talent, you can become an integral partner in helping Meritus Health achieve its goal of treating the community well. Click here to learn more about the Meritus Medical Center Auxiliary.
