Recovering from cancer can be a long, hard road. Equipped for Life understands the needs of cancer patients and will work with you to help you feel whole again. For those experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy or radiation treatments we have stylish wigs from Henry Margu and beautiful turbans and hats from Hats with Heart. We also carry skincare products for patients going through chemotherapy. For ladies suffering from lymphedema, our staff consists of certified custom garment fitters and Elvarex fitters who will work with you in our private fitting room to find the perfect breast form and bras. Amoena, Jodee, Almost You, and American Breast Care are just a few of the product lines offered. We even have mastectomy swimwear! Most items are insurance billable with a physician's order.

Equipped for Life offers a full line of ostomy appliances and accessory products. We offer top brands like Genairex, Hollister, Convatec and Coloplast. Our knowledgeable staff will work with you and your physician to provide you with the products that are best suited for your body and lifestyle.
Diabetes
Equipped for Life offers a wide range of products to meet the needs of diabetic patients. From diabetic shoes and socks to glucometers and test strips, we have what you need to stay well. We have certified diabetic shoe fitters on staff that can fit you for a pair of stylish diabetic shoes. These shoes may be covered by Medicare and some commercial insurance with a physician's order.
Breast Cancer
Equipped for Life offers a variety of services for women during breast cancer treatment and continuous care for post-treatment. We stock a wide variety of hats, turbans and wigs. For ladies suffering from lymphedema, our staff consists of certified custom garment fitters and Elvarex fitters. Amoena, Jodee, Almost You, and American Breast Care are just a few of the product lines offered. Equipped for Life has a knowledgeable and experienced staff with Board for Orthotist/Prothetist Certification certified mastectomy fitters and registered fitters. Most items are insurance billable with a physician's order.
CPAP Supplies
Equipped for Life works with doctors and sleep laboratory professionals to provide the most appropriate products to treat sleep apnea. ResMed, Respironics, and Fisher Paykel are just a few of the manufacturers stocked at Equipped for Life. We offer a phone-based program that automatically contacts you when it is time to replace your CPAP supplies.
Respiratory Care
Our state-of-the-art oxygen systems help patients with breathing difficulties live at home and travel with confidence. Devilbiss I-Fill and Invacare Home Fill are a couple of the systems that allow you the freedom to fill your own portability tanks and never wait on a delivery truck again. Respiratory therapists licensed in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia provide thorough instructions and develop a care plan customized to each individual. In addition to oxygen tanks of various sizes, we can provide you with high-flow and travel-size concentrators, nebulizers, tracheotomy supplies, and suction machines.
Mobility
Equipped for Life's trained staff will work with you to find the products that best suit your needs. We have a wide range of canes, walkers, wheelchairs, and bathroom products that will make every day easier. We also have a variety of seat lift chairs that will match any décor.
Arthritis
Do you suffer with arthritis pain? Our staff can help find products to help improve the quality of your life. Our extensive showroom consists of a wide variety of products, such as walkers, canes, transport chairs, wheelchairs, bathroom safety, aids to daily living, and hot/cold therapy. Our trained staff includes 4 BOC and 3 ABC Corp certified, and 4 registered orthotic fitters to help you with your bracing needs.
Power Mobility- Scooters and Power Chairs
Equipped for Life has expanded its product and service line to include power mobility. With this expansion, Equipped for Life is now the only local provider accredited to bill Medicare for power chairs and accessories. Staffed by an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and a rehab mobility coordinator, Equipped for Life will work directly with you to provide a seamless referral process. From basic scooters and power chairs to complex rehab chairs, Equipped for Life can handle them all.
This new program also features a state of the art pressure mapping system that helps to reduce and prevent pressure sores in patients who are wheelchair or bed bound. This system can be used to assess patients who have an existing chair, manual or powered, or patients who are just starting the process.
