Dr. Corcoran earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed a residency at Georgetown University School of Medicine and a fellowship in thoracic surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is board certified with the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
Dr. Corcoran’s clinical interests include all chest surgery, pericardial, pleural cavity, benign and malignant pulmonary and esophageal disease, diaphragmatic procedures and chest wall reconstruction post trauma. Dr. Corcoran brings broad experience and deep expertise to provide the most advanced, individualized and evidence-based care for his patients.
