New VP to lead talent management at Meritus Health
Pursuit of national recognition as employer of choice continues
HAGERSTOWN, Md. – Following an extensive and national search, Meritus Health is pleased to announce that Scott Salzetti, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has been named vice president of Team Member Services.
With 25 years of leadership experience in human resources and 20 years of additional leadership roles, the addition of Salzetti to the Meritus Health team will foster diversity and inclusion, and grow employee engagement.
“We are excited to welcome Scott to our team, as he will implement workforce plans that align with our 2030 Bold Goals to be a nationally ranked employer of choice,” said Carrie Adams, Pharm.D., chief operating officer.
In recent months, Meritus Health’s human resources department went through an innovative rebranding process. The department is now known as Team Member Services, leaders are coaches and employees are team members.
“It’s an exciting time at Meritus, as we move forward with this redesign,” Salzetti said. “We know that when team members are engaged in their work, they find meaning in what they do. That is vitally important to finding joy at work,” he said.
In his most recent role, Salzetti served as chief human resources officer with Abrazo Community Health Network (Tenet Healthcare Corp.), in Phoenix, Ariz. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
