Meritus Health employees rally to set students up for success
HAGERSTOWN, Md. – It’s back-to-school time for students in Washington County, and Meritus Health employees understand the importance of setting students up for success.
Over the last several weeks, team members contributed hundreds of supplies for local students, from colorful backpacks, to everything needed to fill them; crayons, folders, notebooks and more.
“We are deeply entwined with the success of this community. Health, education and happiness are all tied together. This school year, we were able to make sure that our students started on the best path to success,” said Maulik Joshi, Dr.P.H., president and CEO.
The donations were distributed through the Meritus Healthcare Foundation during Washington County Public Schools’ back-to-school night event.
“The beginning of a new school year allows us the opportunity to show our community that we support and care for them,” Joshi said.
