Amidst a challenging year for so many of us, we were so grateful that so many people knew the importance of supporting our community’s hospital by playing in our charity golf tournament. As a non-profit hospital, so much of what we can do is dependent on our sponsors, supporters, donors and friends and when called to action- our community responded!

We were thrilled to carry on the legacy of the Meritus Open even during such uncertain times. Deemed “an activity of relative normalcy” the outpouring of support witnessed was a true testament of a community pulling together for a great cause. With close to 150 golfers, more corporate support than ever and the incredible in-kind contributions we received, we continue to be able to provide exceptional care for the more than 200,000 patients who turn to Meritus Health for help and healing every year.

As a result, the 25th anniversary of the Meritus Open proved to be a remarkably successful event with proceeds of nearly $50,000 raised to support the patients and programs of Meritus Health!

By sponsoring, supporting and joining us to play, participation in the Meritus Open allows the Meritus Healthcare Foundation to uphold our promise to raising the resources needed for new medical equipment, clinical education and the ever-present immediate needs related to COVID-19.
