September’s DAISY award winner was Chelsea Connelly, RN. The mother of a patient wrote on Chelsea’s nomination form that “She was caring, supporting and stayed past her time off to assist my daughter with her delivery." The patient added, “She was a lot of help and comfort and was very special to me. Chelsea’s shift was over, but she still stayed until my baby girl arrived.” Other nominees for the September award were Audre Blizard, Jennifer Brown, Katherine Durst, Michele Kershner, Christina Quinn, Laurel Shoemaker and Emily Solenberger.
