Staci Moser, an RN in the Meritus Medical Center emergency department, has been named a 2013 DC/MD/VA Nurse.com Nursing Excellence regional FINALIST in the Clinical Care, Inpatient category, one of six categories including Advancing and Leading the Profession; Clinical Care, Inpatient; Education and Mentorship; Home, Community and Ambulatory Care; Patient and Staff Management; and Volunteerism and Service. As a regional FINALIST, Staci was among 30 nurses (five in each category) from the DC/MD/VA region honored at the Nurse.com Nursing Excellence GEM Awards this summer at Martin's Crosswinds in Greenbelt, Md.
