Meritus Healthcare Foundation Names New Managers

Meritus Healthcare Foundation is welcoming two new managers this spring—new Donor Relations Manager Allison Anderson and new Development Manager Aliana Havrilla.

Havrilla will be instrumental in building on the foundation's successes in corporate giving programs, event sponsorships, board development and major gift initiatives. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Public and Urban Affairs and a Master of Arts in Public and International Affairs from Virginia Tech. Following graduation, she remained at Virginia Tech where she most recently led the YMCA as Executive Director, successfully leading a fundraising staff and coordinating the work of more than 2,000 community volunteers. Prior to the YMCA, she worked to build community partnerships as a Regional Planner for the New River Valley Planning District Commission.

Anderson will be working specifically with internal audiences including board members, physicians, planned giving and programs for Meritus Health's employee giving campaign, the Lifesaver Giving Club. She received her Bachelor of Arts from George Mason University. Anderson was last at the Manna Food Center in Gaithersburg, where she served as Development Manager. In her role, she designed individual and corporate giving programs, secured grant support and implemented many social media strategies. Prior to that, she worked as a grant writer for the George W. Bush Center in Houston, Texas, and managed donor services for the YMCA in Oakland, Calif. Anderson is a member of the Association of Donor Relations Professionals and the American Association of Grant Professionals.
