Showkat Bashir, M.D.

Dr. Bashir earned his medical degree from the University of Kashmir in Srinagar, India and completed his residency at Nassau County Medical Center, Stony Brook University in East Meadow, NY. Dr. Bashir completed a gastroenterology fellowship at Georgetown University and the National Institute of Health in Washington, DC. Dr. Bashir specializes in advanced endoscopy procedures including ERCP, EUS, endoluminal stenting, endoscopic resection and ablative endoscopic techniques. 

Dr. Bashir is board certified in Gastroenterology with the American Board of Internal Medicine.
