Medical Student Rotations

Thank you for your interest in the Meritus Family Medicine Residency Program. We are excited to share everything our program has to offer with fourth year medical students contemplating family medicine residency training in our region. Medical students who are excited about learning and proactive in their knowledge acquisition and personal growth are invited to join us for a four-week in-person rotation (two-week rotations considered on a case-by-case basis).

The sub-internship four-week rotation provides ample exposure to clinical experiences, residents, and faculty in both the outpatient Residency Family Medicine Practice and on the Family Medicine Inpatient Service. The goals and objectives of this 4-week opportunity can be found in the Senior Medical Student Sub-Internship Rotation Curriculum. Students seeking a two-week experiential away rotation only should state a preference for inpatient or outpatient. We begin accepting applications on 4/15/2024. Students should complete the Student Rotation Request Form. Request forms will be processed no earlier than 5/1/2024. Students must complete their rotations between 8/12/2024 and 12/29/2024.

Meritus medical student away rotations and sub-internships will be considered for the following groups of learners:

  • Fourth year medical students
