The 2007 Robinwood Health Fair

This year’s health fair features events and education for people of all ages, from the kids’ “Glitterbug” handwashing station to a brake response test and sun damage analysis.

Visitors will be able to discuss their screening results with a physician as they could last year. “This was a valuable service to local residents, some of whom had not seen a physician for some time,” said Richard Ardery, director of marketing at Meritus Medical Center. “The fair was also an opportunity for folks who live in the region to meet our clinical superstars—over one hundred of our doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physician assistants, and many other members of our staff volunteered their time.”

At this year’s fair, you’ll learn about a number of health issues—but more importantly, you’ll learn about your own specific health issues and risk factors. We’ll have more than thirty health screenings in all, including EKG, echocardiograms, sleep apnea, glaucoma, diabetes risk, depression, total cholesterol, posture, and foot health.

And parents, you won’t want to miss the child fingerprinting station, height-weight check, pediatric asthma screening, free surgical hats and masks, and our other kid-friendly activities.
