Please note that many of these activities will take place at either Meritus Medical Center or Robinwood Medical Center – unless otherwise noted. Stepping On: A Free Workshop for Preventing Falls
Many older people have had a fall experience that has shaken their confidence and may have resulted in injury. The threat of a fall can be a barrier to safely doing all the things they want to do at home and in the community. Stepping On is a well-researched falls prevention program presented by Meritus Health's Community Health Education program, Total Rehab Care, and the Washington County Health Department. The Stepping On workshop meets for two hours a week for seven weeks.
