Career Summary Dr. White joins the hospital with years of administrative experience, most recently from UPMC-McKeesport, a University of Pittsburgh Medical Center hospital, where he was vice president of value and education and chief medical officer for over eight years. Prior to that, he was department chair at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, before becoming director of the residency program and vice president of quality at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Immediately following residency training, he spent more than five years in private practice as an internal medicine practitioner in Southington, Connecticut.
Current Areas of Responsibility Dr. White’s primary responsibility will be to partner with administration to facilitate the work of the medical staff to advance patient care, quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.
