The Make
a Difference project is a breast cancer outreach, education,
and screening
program that focuses on providing services to uninsured and underinsured
women living in Washington County.
Clinics are held each month to provide women of all ages with free breast health education, breast exams, and transportation (with advance notice). Mammograms, if needed, will be provided either the same day or scheduled within three weeks. Financial assistance is available for any charges that are not covered and for those who do not have insurance. Clinics are held in various locations within the county and include some evening and weekend dates. You may call 301-665-4671 to make an appointment.
